Este vestido lo realicé para un desfile en Alemania llamado "Weltgewander" en el cual participamos 10 personas de Perú. Como es obvio tenía que reflejar la cultura peruana, usé el telar de colores (que era obligatorio), lo cubrí con gasa y mezclé con tafeta, usé alpaca para el bolero y los escarpines e hice los zapatos de telar también (lamentablemente desaparecieron en el camino).
Luego volvieron a hacer otro desfile llamado "Tejiendo lazos" en Lima donde volvió a participar, todo salió muy bonito.
Esto fue en el 2009...I made this dress for the "Weltgewander", it was fashion event in Germany in wich 10 persons from Perú participated. Like it's obvious it had to express the peruvian culture so i use the colored loom (that was mandatory), covered it with chiffon and mix it with taffeta, i used alpaca for the knitted garments and made the shoes with the loom as well (unfortunately the missed in the way).
Then it was used for another runway show called "Tejiendo lazos" in Lima, everything went very nice.
